Vaporizers and smell -- how much?
I would hope that the smell would be somewhat less than smoking, but what has been your experience?

Ya the smell is significantly less than when smoking. I find that facing a fan out an open window and blowing directly out the window produces barely any after smell.

In my opinion, your best option would be either the DaBuddha Vape or the Silver Surfer Vape. They both have an available aromatherapy dish that worked wonders when I lived in a dorm. I was constantly getting compliments on how nice my room smelled
The essential oils available from the manufacturer do a wonderful job of covering up any smells. I actually find that the aromatherapy works pretty well. Citrus or mint will be very invigorating and helps wake you up, while something like lavender is quite relaxing at the end of a long day.

There should be virtually no smell at all. If you are vaporizing, you are not burning. The vapor carries essences that you breathe in. There is no more smell than if you popped a piece of Trident in your mouthl.

You're right, Mojo, there is some smell. I don't know enough about chemistry to speak intelligently about it, but the difference is still quite astounding. When you smoke, there's a smell that clings. Somehow it gets into everything. You can smell your coworkers when they come back from a cigarette break, and it's no different with pot.
But whatever smell is there when you vaporize, it's totally different. It's a light smell that quickly dissipates, and most importantly, doesn't smell like you would expect. I tried to turn a friend on to vaporizing tobacco (he's trying to quit, and I know he's not going to, so I figured he should at least use nicotine as safely as possible) while a second friend who doesn't smoke was sitting at the same table in a small, enclosed kitchen. The second friend agreed that what he smelled didn't smell at all like cigarette smoke, that it was actually a rather pleasant smell, and that he couldn't smell it now that 30 seconds had passed anyway.
