Do you think most dispensaries know how much an ounce weighs?

Not guilt...frustration
With the biz, they're finding there's no consistancy in product, they had to borrow $ to start (usually from mom and dad), security, constant threat of burglary, laws about to change, lots of 18 year old males, police driving by, competition from other dispensaries, etc.
A lot of dispensaries are finding it's a lot harder to run than the "get rich quick" scheme they had in mind

I bought an eighth today, half bubba kush, half chemdawg. I got home and weighed it, each half only weighed 1.5 grams. So i got an eighth that only weighed 3 grams. I called the place back and let them know. There was a new girl working, and i dont think she knew how much an eighth weighed.


Im still pissed. Hopefully when i go back they will make up for it. Where do they find these idiots that work at these places. Most of these people dont know shit about weed. I knew an eighth was 3.5 since 9th fucking grade.
I swear 99 percent of these dispensaries are garbage. If you are running a MEDICAL buisness, then ACT like it.

I suspect a lot are shaving some off the top for themselves.
They know most likely you have no accurate scale (but you did).
Then when you phone these places, they're usually so fucked up, they can hardly speak. One girl denied they were having a special over and over again when it was right on their front page or their website.

It was Medical Marijuana of the Rockies in Frisco. Im going to give them the benifit of the doubt, and assume the girl thought an eighth was 3 grams. Im gonna go back there tomorrow and talk to them.

I was just wondering how it went with the 3 gram 1/8. That is about a full joints worth. This is significant loss for a single 1/8.

for those that would like to check thier weight on thier medicine go to harbor frieght and get thier small scale for about 19.00 bucks and you will never be guessing again if you where given the proper weight..this works quite well.

Yeah, .1 g digis are pretty cheap at headshops nowadays too. Maybe $20. These work great too.

Or you can get one of those old school postage hang scales for a under $5 at any office supply store or headshop. But those aren't very accurate.

I looked at some of the digital scales at the head shops and felt they just wanted to rip me off so I found a nice alternative at harbor freight...but any digital is better then no digital for sure.

I still weigh my Z's at 1 to 2 gr's over, always have always will. Shorting people on weight is always bad business.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
