Course, then the lower branches keep growing and push the tops into the light.

Hopefully that was the problem. Question is how high should the light be? I just put it up to 18".

Been a long time, 10 years, since I grew HPS.

All I can tell ya from recent, personal experience, is my 150W. LED light starts bleaching at about 4".
Thats what cooked my lemonskunk in da photo.
Strain, temperature, and wavelength would be the variables here.
