I have plans to go down that route in the future, at the moment I have very limited funds and the space I am growing in is too small (1.5ft depth x3ft wide). I am moving my grow to a larger location as soon as my current one is finished and not having to spend money on bud is slowly allowing me to save for better kit.

I added the mylar (its actually tin foil) around the base because I was getting a mould form on the soil. But it has helped the lower leaves a lot. The plants even grew new leaves around the base after I added them.

I don't think I can add pictures until I have a higher post count.

This is very interesting! What made you think to put it around the base like that n how did u go about doin it?
n how many posts do you need before you can add pics? im gonna be growin soon if i want good feedback i know ima want pics in my log.
