Prune roots on clones?
I've been kinda busy...
Have some clones that have been in a bubble-cloner for a bit longer than planned. Clones are Reserva Privada "Kandy Kush", they push out some rather delicate roots that really take-off when they reach the water. Some of the darn things are a foot long and it seems silly to coil 'em up in the (16 oz) cup when I go to transplant them.
I'm planning to trim them back to just a couple inches long. Is it better to just let 'em be? I'm not overly concerned with slowing them down, if that's the only drawback to trimming. I was just wondering if you've ever run into this. What do you do? :weedpoke:EvilCartman Reviewed by EvilCartman on . Prune roots on clones? Prune roots on clones?
Would you walk well if someone cut off your longer toes? After awhile yes.

Prune roots on clones?
I never trim roots on a young clone. Ever. I try really hard not to bend, fold, spindle or mutilate 'em.
Unless you have a specific goal in mind, you don't want to stress them into doing something drastic. Stuff like stunting, dying...

I'll hack one of 'em, and name it Gimpy, to see how badly she fares.
