That depends on 2 things. 1. how much you consume, and 2. how picky you are about quality and potency.

I could get by with a 250 and some decent genetics. If you are careful to keep a steady supply of clones moving into the flower chamber you should always have weed.

My grow room is 2' deep X4' wide X4'high I will only have limited means of ventilation ie, computer fans for noise reasons, and passive intake. I am only goin to growing 2-3 plants at a time from clones for personal use. I know the 400 watt will provide thicker heavier buds and heavier yeild but is it worth it for the extra heat? Or would the 250 be sufficient for my use, with less heat output? Rating: 5
