    Average compensation for caregivers

What the average compensation to caregivers for supplying medicine? I understand you can't make money , but can collect for expenses. What are you charging per ounce?

    Average compensation for caregivers

RIPAC suggests that patients compensate their caregivers no more than $150/ounce. I'm currently asking $5/gram ($140/oz). This is incredibly cheap compared to other states and around 1/2 to 1/4 current market price.

RIPAC can make suggestions but it is not the law. Caregivers can ask for whatever patients will pay. The law does not preclude one from asking to be compensated for time spent growing, at least not how I have read it.

I would hope patients would want their caregivers to be compensated fairly. There is a lot of work, knowledge and dedication that goes into producing this medicine, especially if done well. Not to mention the cost of equipment and the risk you run by keeping highly valuable plants in your house.

I'm also curious what other caregivers are asking for compensation. I'm sure many of us would rather keep this info private but please do share. That way we can have a better idea of a fair market based medicine price, not just an arbitrary figure tossed out by RIPAC. :hippy:

My medicine is seedless and of very high quality. However, I'm unfortunately unable to take on extra patients right now. How much are other caregivers asking?

It's kind of irritating that this topic has received over 160 views but no one else wants to post what they are charging or paying for reimbursement.

Patients or caregivers lets share some info here.

i think you should just have a set monthly fee that each patient gives his caregiver based on the amount of meds requested.Say 200-300 a month and I get 2 ounces bi-weekly.
Once upon a time there was a million \"Golden Trichomes\" , Now there are few....

hello all im a registered patient and i pay 170 for mine and it is the best meds that i have had. It is always seedless and just superior quality. Ripac does not say what to charge thats is not what they do. What they say is to figure what it takes to grow the meds but the average price for meds is anywere from 120 an ounce to 200 an ounce i think it is totaly fair to have the prices from 120 to 150-170 if you pay 200 for your meds it better be of the highest quailtiy. such as mine. im just sayin if a caregiver is doing this for the correct resons then there should be no reson why u should not pay much more than 150 an ounce but i know there are caregivers that produce awsome meds that are priced at $35.50 an ounce and let me tell u it aint no swag

Im a patient in NM, down here the prices on average on 13.00$ a gram.
Just wanted to follow along your discussion(even though im not from RI), I am trying to set up a program down here so patients gets meds at the cost of growing it, with the grower receiving a reasonable hourly pay.

what do you guys think of the program up that way?
