Hello from Weed California ok first off i really am from a town called WEED...hence my handle!! i am a medical user since my spinal cord injury in 2004. i will show some pics of my grows but i am mainly here to share my experiences with LED lighting. Anyone that wants to say they don't work have a good look at my photos!! i have spent the last few years tracking down the best and most affordable lighting on the market. Since most grow shops only stock conventional lighting or cheap LED lights most will say they don't Rating: 5

Hello from Weed California
yes...before LED's i was burning 2600 watts...2- 1000 watt HPS and 1 600w MH and cooling costs! Now i run 1250 watts of lights total and no cooling. I run heater in the winter to keep my temps around 80f. They have shaved off about $200 month in power.

Hello from Weed California
i started with the all blue LED panel...i call them the light bright model..haha! when a few LED's went out i looked at some LED bulbs and figured if anything went wrong they would be easier to replace with a standard srew in base. i got (2)7 watt all blue bulbs and one 10 watt blue/red then wired 3 ceramic bases together with a 2 prong plug for power. attached the bases to the underside of a shelf and made enclosure with mylar....i have the healthiest clones since switching to all LED from floro's. i found that some red is needed so that when your cuttings root they will begin photosynthesis making chlorophyl to stay green

Hello from Weed California
how far from your cuttings are your LEDs? LED floodlights?spotlights?brand?i think a new clone light would be a good way for me to step into the world of LEDs.
