How many plants can you grow before you are not considered a Home Grower?
How many plants can you grow before you are not considered a Home Grower?
Wondering because I have read Norml.org site, some people get hit hard for the first time, like 5 years prison or more.
I never really thought about it but how many plants would put someone past the slap on the hand "probation/fines" and actually do time?

In Florida, sale, delivery or cultivation of greater than 25 pounds is considered trafficking, and all trafficking offenses have mandatory minimum sentences. For less than 2,000 pounds or less than 2,000 plants, there is a mandatory minimum sentence of three years and a fine of $25,000. For less than 10,000 pounds or less than 10,000 plants there is a mandatory minimum sentence of seven years and a fine of $50,000. For 10,000 pounds or 10,000 plants or greater, the mandatory minimum sentence is 15 years in prison and a fine of $200,000.
So would they weight the pots the plants are in with all that dirt or shake the dirt off the roots and then weight the plant?

In America it would depend on the state. If you have 100+ plants it is a federal offense that comes with five years in prison.

well I am far from 100
Florida law, "cultivation of greater than 25 pound" So is that just the plant, bud, both or even the dirt and bucket?
With dirt would only be a few plants
With out dirt....

My brother grows like a dozen or a little more. When/If/Hopefully when I grow I'm going to grow just 6-12 big plants. To me it's more about fun and just smoking a bit of your own bud that having a mass yield. I have a steady supplier that I would keep buying bud off, it would just be fun to smoke some nice homegrown now and then.
