    Oh my they sank

    Had some seeds that caught out in the cold so to speak. Below 32 degrees F for several days so they essentially were frozen. So, I brought them in and let them acclimate for a few days and put three different types in a shot glass to see if they would sink. Eureka the little devils sank. All written information states that if they sink, they are viable. Now, I hate to have to waste three so I will see what happens next.

    I wouldn't worry about alight freeze on seeds. The plant makes seeds just for that purpose.
    Think of your buds like chocolate chip cookies: some people like em crunchy and some people like em chewy. Personally, I want them tanned golden brown but not crispy....and no one likes cold raw dough in the middle of their cookie.

    I forgot totally about that natural defense. And, two of the seeds I tested were from the 90s and early 2000s, so what I have from then are still viable too.
