Don't really know much about Plagron to make a recommendation. It hasn't done any harm for me (that I know of, may have caused the nutrient problem I had last grow) but hard to say without comparing it to Canna's PK. Next time I'm switching to Coco, and I'll just get one brand and stick with it, probably Canna again.

Subscribed. Interested to see how this turns out. Will be watching your next one too, especially if you decide to do a more traditional scrog.

Do you or anyone have any pointers to good scrog guides? I've found a few older ones but I would like something with pictures illustrating setup and training. I'm guessing this is a learn by doing thing.

Don't mean to hijack you log. I'll be watching to the finish (nice pun, eh?).

No worries, not jacking at all. But geez, where to start... well, I found this a very helpful thread when I started: http://boards.cannabis.com/closet-ca...ly-ladies.html
In addition to that it's really learning by doing. One of the most important things IMO is to start with LST and/or topping so you don't have one thick main stalk, but several smaller ones that are easier to train. The second is getting the right screen size - holes that are not too big and not too small. Mine are too small ATM but couldn't really find the right one. Also, knowing how much the plant will stretch in flowering is important so you can fill in the screen all the way. I used my previous LST grow to judge the stretch. For the TW I need to fill in the screen about 60-70%. With a sativa, it might be more like 30% before flipping the lights.

I did tie the screen down after a couple days. First in one place, then a couple more later. The last bit of advice I can give is to do things gradually, not too much at once. In addition to anchoring the screen to the main stalk, I use twist ties to pull up branches so that more bud sites and at the screen level.

I'd make a guide for scrogging, but I don't really think I'm qualified enough for that until I can work with a couple different strains. But if you have any questions feel free to ask, I'll do my best to answer

Spent 5 months in Amsterdam doing an internship and had no chance to grow :( But at least there was plenty of overpriced, but still good, bud to be had. Back to the topic; I'm back in frigid Finland and starting my new grow project  Equipment: Seeds: Feminized Trainwreck from Greenhouse Seeds Co. Flowering time is 8-9 weeks. Also picked up about a hundred 'Mystery Sativa (MS)' seeds from a Rating: 5
