Finn'SCRog - Trainwreck & Mystery Sativa
So here's day 29 of veg for TW and MS1 (in the red buckets). The rest of the MS are about 22 days old now (black containers).
I'm happy to say that they are all looking great. They've been getting 2/3 to full strength Canna Terra Vega nutrients. They all have new containers as well. Today I repotted (again) the TW and MS1 (they were in other containers for less then a week and got rootbound again :wtf
2 of the bigger MS's were repotted Wednesday, and the smaller 2 this morning.
Also started to LST this week. They've all been trained on different days, but today I re-trained all of them.
First 2 pics are before training, last one is after training. Enjoy :jointsmile:bigtopsfinn Reviewed by bigtopsfinn on . Finn'SCRog - Trainwreck & Mystery Sativa Veg Day 1 Hello and welcome to my third grow :) It's been a while since my last grow. Spent 5 months in Amsterdam doing an internship and had no chance to grow :( But at least there was plenty of overpriced, but still good, bud to be had. Back to the topic; I'm back in frigid Finland and starting my new grow project  Equipment: Seeds: Feminized Trainwreck from Greenhouse Seeds Co. Flowering time is 8-9 weeks. Also picked up about a hundred 'Mystery Sativa (MS)' seeds from a Rating: 5

I'm starting to flower all 5 MS tonight. I light-proofed my old cab and will be moving them manually until the TW is ready for flowering.
The TW will be vegged for another 2-3 weeks.
.................................................. ..............
First 2 pics are the 5 MS (4 in black containers are about 24 days from breaking ground, the one in the red is 30 days)
Last 2 pics are the TW after a little more training at 30 days from breaking ground.

I'm figuring that I need about 10-12 weeks for these to flower. The TW takes 8-9 weeks, so that'll give me at least a week to chop, dry, and put in curing jars before my guest arrives.
No worries, ask awaysorry about the ?'s man but this short stuff is quite a science:thumbsup:

With the TW vegging for 2-3 more weeks I can expect 60+ grams dried harvest, which is more than enough to get me through the summer, then (hopefully) moving back to Amsterdam
The original plan was to have 2 TW's, but one didn't make it out of the soil (my fault), and these sativas are kind of just for kicks. They should all be female as they're from a hermaphrodite, but the person who gifted the seeds to me said that only 1 in 3 were 'good plants'. Anyways, I'll be happy if I get just one keeper.
Talking about the 'short stuff', I'd like to one day try OldMac's method of using clones to fill up the lighting space and flower them with little to no veg time, a mini SOG if you will. Say, 25 clones, each producing 10-20 grams each, with a 400w light, gives you that ~1gram/watt. That's just off the top of my head, but anyways that's the idea. I'm just more afraid of the plant numbers... I think it's safer to have 5 huge trees vs. 25 smaller ones (at least when the law is based on # of plants).
Thanks for checking it out

It was from IC, in the GHS section, in a thread called 'Trainwreck... this is what I got' post #161 - no sign of hermies from that poster.

Just a quick update... All are doing very well.
TW is still in veg, maybe in another week it will get the screen (if it keeps growing like this
). Then flower it in about 2-2.5 weeks.
All 5 MS's have been flowering now seven days, starting to see some calyxes forming. I've been tying them down a little to try and expose more shoots and it's starting to pay off. Once the buds start forming I'll stop training except to maybe even out the canopy if one shoot starts to really 'run away'.
I've been watering them about every 4-5 days, and now that the roots have had a chance to grow into the pots, it'll probably be every 3-4 days. The TW and MS1 (larger containers) have a different soil which I think is 'hotter' (better quality, more expensive too), so they received plain water today. Every time before this they have all received full doses of Canna nutrients, 5ml/liter, Terra Vega for the TW, and Terra Flores for the MS's. Also giving them 10ml/L of the seaweed stuff, doesn't seem to be hurting, so why not
In the pics, the TW is on the far left and the MS1 (the oldest of the MS by about a week) is on the far right. I think the MS1 is a runt, very small leaves compared to the others... not just narrow, just small.

I leave the extra chain on that right side, so if I want to lower or raise the light, I only have to undo that hook, and wrap or unwrap the chain on that spot, and re-hook it.
