It will reduce somewhat the efficiency of your intakes, but I think if you turn the airflow 180 degrees one way, and then 180 degrees the opposite direction, you can stop any light from getting through. This probably isn't clear without a diagram, but I'm far too technically challenged to provide one. Maybe someone reading this can post something?

    Intake/lightleak question

Have you thought of painting the inside of the pipe flat black to cut-down on it's reflectivity?

    Intake/lightleak question

I do see how what I said can mislead folks. No harm intended. Yes any printed information can mean many different things.

Appreciate the clarification of not only the picture, but the reason this occurred and why it does not relate to an indoor grow.

    Intake/lightleak question

:thumbsup:thanx 4 the input guys!i climbed in way before my plants did,but the growroom is at the back of my shed, and the shed door was closed when i checked for l/leek,the light is off during the day, which is fine,i'm at work...damn,not at the wkends though!!the pipes are already black, and i dont really want any bends(as you say for reduction reasons).i guess i'll just have to not use my shed between 9 & 3:jointsmile:
ROLL,ROLL,ROLL A JOINT TWIST IT AT THE END LIGHT IT UP,TAKE A HIT AND PASS IT TO A FRIEND!
