PH problem
I think all the overwatering talk makes first-time growers not water enough! How tall are they? If they are in small cups for containers then you can probably be watering more than every 3-4 days! As they start to get rootbound you can water more and more, like every other day, maybe more.

When to use nutes depends on what kind of soil/mix you're using. Your plant probably needs them if there weren't a lot in your base mix. If your soil was "hot" you're probably getting right to the point where you might want to hit 'em with a 1/4 or 1/2 strength dose and see how they respond. But if they didn't look like they needed it then maybe I'd hold out.lampost Reviewed by lampost on .
