I have nothing but good to say about them. They work like a champ. Just harvested my first batch today. Check out my other grow log to see what I grew in a tent.

So far so good. All my ladies are looking healthy. No nutes yet. With Fox Farm Ocean Forest they say you dont need to use nutes for the first 3 weeks. Last time I waited about 16 days to start adding them. 600 MH is working good but not producing enough heat. It's been a cold winter in Southern California and I live just a couple of blocks from the ocean which makes it even colder. I put a little space heater by the air intake of my tent and it warms it up very nice inside. Thats it. Check out my other thread...I just posted pics of last Sundays harvest. It was a real winner. Peace.

Heater kills cold, and humidity. I don't know if you have an humidity meter, but I did this once and the meter displayed "Lo", so it was around 5-10%.

    Nonetheless, they look great!

Two weeks into flowering. Moved to the big tent after 30 days of Veg. Now the Veg tent has 7 Tangerine Skunk and 3 Grape Punch.

The 2 tallest ones are Sour Diesel. 5 White Diesel. 3 Sour Grape. They are under a 1000 watt HPS. I have a 6" inline fan ducted to the light to pull the heat out. I have the charcol filter outside of the tent so that I have maximum floor space for an extra plant.

The Veg tent has 7 Tangerine Skunk and 3 Grape Punch. They are 10 days into the 30 day Veg cycle. I just tied them down yesterday. I have used the LST method instead of topping for my last 2 grows and it works like a champ. They are sitting under a 600 watt MH conversion bulb. I have been using Root Excelurator by House and Garden on these last 20 plants for the first 2 weeks of Veg and it has really made a difference. 100% of these plants are a good 30% bigger than my last grow not using the root xl. When I transplanted the last 10 into 5 gallon buckets the roots were comming out of the holes in the bottom of the pot! Tons of huge, fuzzy, bright white roots. This stuff is crazy expensive but I would say well, well, well worth the cost.

I have 2 more tents and 2 more 1000 watt lights to set up in my new spot. I am right across the street from the ocean so instead of hooking up an AC unit I just ducted from the vents straight into the tents. With the cool ocean air being sucked in I am able to keep the temps low and save on using the electricity of running an AC unit.

If everything goes the way it should I should harvest 1-1.5 pounds every 30-35 days. More than enough for me, my wife and all of our friends. My entire grow is compliant with the prop 215 and comletely legal. God bless California!

Ive been looking up tents and am very convinced, but your 1st grow was what put my attention towards the whole tent idea.

    Thanks for sharing

I know I have said it a bunch of times, but the tents are really a great way to go. You just set them up which takes a half hour as opposed to the hours/days it would take to set up a room. Your grow is completely contained which keeps light in when you need it and light out when you need it, keeps temps where they should be, keeps smell in check, bugs out, etc. I just bought an 10'x10' tent which will have two 1000 watt lights in it. Than I will use my 4'x4' tent which is now being used as the flowering tent as the veg tent. Double the size of my grow to harvesting 20-30 plants every month. I took all the $ I made from the last grow and put it 100% back into getting more equiptment. I am a firm beliver in "you get what you pay for." If you want to cut corners, or try and use cheapy equiptment to save $ I think your yield and the quality of your plants will reflect that. If you do it right, bite the bullet, and buy all the best equiptment up front, you should be set for quite a few harvests before you have to replace anything.
