The middle plant was grown in sunlight. the other two under leds. I couldn't be happier with my leds.

I use 660nm. red in my homebrew lights, and rival tropical sunlight for size and density.

And I like Coco coir as a medium.
A call it "Drydroponics". Highest yeild/least work.

Had a good experience buying White Widow seeds from VUDU.com in Italy.
Tried a UK company, but they would not ship to the US and when I asked who would, they sent me to VUDU.

I think I see what you are trying to do here and it is one of the few approaches that I wholeheartedly recommend leds for.

Desires to start small, hoping to start with ten seeds with the goal of ending up with one or two good mother plants. Considering using an autopot system, and LED lights. I guess the first question is, are autopots and LED lighting systems all that the marketers say they are, or is a lot of it hype?
