What happens if I violate a CD in NJ?
So, tomorrow I go in for my drug test for a conditional discharge, and if I fail I'd assume I'd violate the CD. It's been nearly a month since I last smoked and it was a small amount. So, I'm certain I won't fail but, just in case.. Does anyone have any idea what happens?

depends on the judge. they might not do anything, they might extend it, or worse case scenario is you get retried on the original charge, you get convicted (its just a disorderly persons offense).
the conditions that judges set vary wildly.
i lived in hunterdon but got busted in a fishbowled car driving around asbury park in manmoth county while visiting a friend. we inadvertently drove into the sketchy area.
i didnt even use a lawyer, i simply applied for conditional discharge and for timed payment and was granted it. my "condition" was that i come back once a month for a year and sit in the back of the courtroom for municipal court. nothing else. no drug testing, no nothing. driving out there 4 hours round trip every month was soooo shitty. every time i went i was stoned, i was even stoned during my initial court appearance.
seeing all the people cumming through municipal court in asbury park who had problems much worse than ill ever have helped me look at my life in a different, more mature perspective. i cant say it was entirly bad

Yeah, the charges are absurdly small. I got charged with possesion of literally 1 gram and paraphinalla. It sucked though because, I was crashing at a friends house. The police had a fugitive warrent for someone who used to live there. My moronic friend let them in. They saw weed on the table I was sleeping beside and decided to arrest and, charge both of us.
My friend had this shitty "If I'm going down... You're going down with me." Mentality and decided not to say it was all his. Which it was. Worst way to wake up ever.
