    help!

    i have a plant that is still vegging, though I plan to flower very soon. up until about two weeks ago it seemed to be fine but recently lower leaves have started to have yellow and brown spots. this has begun to work its way up the plant. i was wondering if this was a nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn? by the way, i have also noticed that some stems have turned a little reddish purple.

    i've seen websites showing issues like this and their cause, but I havent been able to figure out what's wrong with mine. any help is greatly appreciated!

    P.S. sorry the images are blurry

    help!

    This sounds like over fertilization to me. The reddish/purple stems are usually an indicator of too much phosphorus... and it wouldn't surprise me if that means there's too much of a few other things.

    HOWEVER! No one reading this post has any clue as to what/how much you are feeding! a very important thing to know regarding questions about feeding!
    There's also really no way to tell you how to fix the problem without knowing what medium you are using (soil, hydro, etc.).

    If you are using soil, would suggest using straight water for your next few waterings and see if things get any better. always good to keep that PH between 6.3-6.8 as well.

    Beyond that, Fill out this form:

    It gives anyone reading this a MUCH better handle on what you may be doing wrong.

    help!

    Flush it, meaning don't feed it anything. Just water it, until it rebounds. Then start using a weak nute solution (25% strength) and work your way up as the plant gets bigger.

    I think that should do it :thumbsup:

    help!

    I am running 4 40 watt fluro's in a semi long but narrow space. The fluro's are 2 grow lights (aquarium n plant life) and 2 cool whites. I have them a couple of inches from the plant. The walls are white, and they are in soil from wal-mart. I give them a light solutiong of maricle grow when they dry out (2-3days). Can I expect to see any good results in my final product?

    @BLAYZIN

    Welcome to the site! You will receive much better help if you start your own thread in the appropriate sections:thumbsup:

    To answer your questions: fluorescent lights are good for veg, but an HPS will give much better results when it comes to flowering. Whatever lights you decide to use, aim for 5000 lumens per square foot of growing space.

    Don't know much about Aerogardens though, start up another thread or use google, copy and paste "aerogarden site:boards.cannabis.com" (without the quotation marks) and you will find several threads on this site about aerogardens. Works for just about anything you want to know.
