Strange plant... Mis-shapen and crispy leaves! Help!

    Hey guys,

This is 1 of 2 Mr Nice plants that I have. One of them is doing pretty well, but this one is exhibiting some strange symptoms... it almost seems like the plant has a disease or something, but it was cloned from the same mother.

Anyway, the plant has some mis-shapen leaves. The leaf in the picture shows a main/center leaflet that is smaller than all of the the other leaflets on the leaf! It's supposed to be the biggest! Also, there are some rough, oddly-shaped edges on the smaller leaflets. It almost looks like it was chewed on by something, but this is how it developed. Some of the leaves have a weird texture... kind of crispy... looks like there are trichs on it whereas other plants don't show this.

This plant has been fucked up from the beginning. It kind of "self-topped" itself just after I got it. All the new growth kind of shriveled up and got a bit crispy, then the other shoot started to grow as the main shoot! I didn't do anything to the plant... don't know if they did something to it before I got it (or spilled something on it) because it was kind of shriveled when I got it. The plant has just been acting really weird ever since I put it in the ground!

Anyway, some additional info: clone transplanted to FFOF w 10% perlite 9-10 days ago. 1000W HPS, tap water, no nutes, oscillating fan on most of the time. Sprayed with neem solution a few times, but this was there before that. I also have another Mr Nice that has been treated exactly the same and hasn't had any of these issues (other than the spindly new growth I have another post about that I suspect is a high pH).

Let me know what you think! The last picture shows the healthier leaves on the other Mr Nice. Peace.

Judging by this and your other post, I'm guessing your light is way too close. 1000w HPS can be well over 2 feet away from the canopy.

You should probably do something about that ph too... 7.5-8.0 is basic enough to slow the absorption of many of the nutes it needs. 6.3-6.8 is where you wanna be.

If those two things aren't the issue, I'm afraid someone else will have to help.

    good luck
