I don't know the wording in the RI law for residency, but if someone crosses the state line while carrying it is a federal offense (interstate). Also, since it's illegal in MA, that state's laws could be used against her.

I have a few questions about this situation. Since she lives in Mass and her Doc is in RI, can she still get a card in RI? I am assuming she can't. If she can't, does anyone know how far away Mass is in getting medical marijuana on the books? If she can, can someone in RI become her caregiver even though she lives in Mass?
