Different strains sharing the same reservoir?

    Hi all,

First, let me thank everyone for all the information on here. I've learned so much!

So here's my situation, I'm a first time grower who's learning everything I can from 5 different books and as many websites as possible (this one being the best!). I have my MMJ card and would like to eventually become a commercial grower. In my giddiness to purchase weed, seeds, and clones legally, I now have 13 different strains growing. I'm using the DWC method with 18 gallon containers with 2 plants in each one. I have a bubble stone at the bottom and am using a 1000 watt light on a 6' mover.

My intent is to grow as many mothers as possible, and then take clones and begin growing in ernest. I've already learned that I no longer want to continue with the DWC on a larger scale, as it uses too much water (flushing 150 gallons every week). I'm looking at some variation of aeroponics, i.e., a 6' tube of 8"pvc pipe with 6 net pot with sprayers and everything mixing in a 20 gallon reservoir.

My question is, can I keep different strains on the tube and feed them from the same reservoir? I currently have 6 different strains in three 18 gallon DWC reservoirs. They seem to be growing fine in there veg state. I realize that different strains require different amounts of nuts, but is it possible to keep them all in some kind of range? I keep the pH around 5.6 and add nuts when needed. What will happen when the flower?

Definately. Some strains grow very similar and require similar nutrient levels. Find some similar and the harvest will b comparable to having all the same strain. Practice makes perfect.

Best not to mix sativa dominates with indica dominates. They require different levels of nutes.
