I guess my core question is growth patterns and what to expect. My point is simply that the trichs all still seem clear yet all the hairs for the most part have most already turned reddish brown. Any help???

thats normal. they didn\'t get fertilized so they\'re unneeded, and there\'s nothing superfluous in nature.

are they standing straight up and pointy looking? or are there curves in the trichome stalks?

Thank you for your reply. For the most part they are all still straight. I know that some strains experience a sudden burst of extra flowers towards the final couple of weeks of flowering, but is this one of those strains? I only have a 30X loupe and so far , all I can detect are crystal clear trichs.Having never grown this strain before , I am relying on the good folks here to help me out on this.Thank you in advance for any advice from those experienced with this particular strain.

It might also just be the plant. Having no experience with the bubba I can't say for sure but I have had plants from great strains just never produce big buds. Might just be the luck of the draw ya know?

Let it go for a couple weeks and see....report back!
Think of your buds like chocolate chip cookies: some people like em crunchy and some people like em chewy. Personally, I want them tanned golden brown but not crispy....and no one likes cold raw dough in the middle of their cookie.

In your experience with this particular strain, what kind of yields do you get?

Bubba is a very slow growing short stocky plant...it is a low yielder but will give some excellant meds! Flower it on a 10 week schedule and i think you will be happy with your end results!

By the looks of my bubba it seems to a be a bushy plant. I topped but so there are lots of tops showing up. Im flowering right now so hopefully I get a decent yield.

It is most certainly the easiest plant I've ever had any experience with.Beautiful structure and gorgeous flowers. It's a shame that the yield is not up to par with some of the other strains out there.
