I do not live in Denver but in the suburbs and use tap water for my growing. I found it's important to let the water settle for a day or two before using. I fill up my water containers and I do not use them for a few days. I do not add nutes to the water till I am going to use it.

There are some strains that seem to do better than others with the unfiltered water. I think some strains are just alittle pickier in regards to PH etc.

Hope this helps and good luck to you.

Happy growing.
Reenster Reviewed by Reenster on . Denver water... anyone use it unfiltered for watering? Do any growers on here use unfiltered Denver water? I'm wondering if Denver uses chloramines or chlorine for disinfection of drinking water. Does anyone know? I guess chloramines don't evaporate out of the water easily like chlorine does, so it could potentially be a problem for organic growers... I'm pretty sure Denver uses chloramines as a residual disinfectant in the water... but I can't afford an RO filter now. So, hopefully some of you guys are having success with plain old Denver Rating: 5
