So for about $120, you can have all the chloramine, and chlorine filtered out while keeping the valuable trace mineral that most tap water has. In most cases these minerals are GOOD for our plants.

These little filters are also rated for 60,000 before replacement filters are needed. SO if you use less than 10 gal per day (10 gal 365), it will last a full year.

Not bad tasting either.
I'd love to get one of those but I just can't afford it right now! I had to quit my job to stay in Colorado, so I'm only buying what I HAVE TO HAVE. I still have a few things on the list before that (a better fan, pH meter, etc)...

Can you steer me towards any discussions or info on this subject at all?

I'm going to either have to use these chemicals OR just water with chloramines in the water!! I don't know which one would be worse!
