I have no interest in selling you any lights or changing what you do or the way you grow, BTW. As far as I'm concerned you can grow with a candle and a magnifying glass if it makes you happy.

I have heard the claims, seen the pics, it's still tough to believe. Even at a gram a watt you would need 2000 or so watts to match a couple 1Kwatt hps at least. In LEDs that's a bundle of money.

jakester Reviewed by jakester on . led vs hps? so i have been reading alot about l.e.d and it seams most of the stuff im reading is coming from people with a interest in selling the product.. now i have done lots of out doors and a few crops under hps. nothing spectacular. I have a room in mind its 4 foot by 10 and i want to get about 15 plants in there.. should i sell my 1000 and 600 hps and get some leds or buy new bulbs and keep the old humming sunsupplys... anyone on here using leds? how well do they work.... how high from the plants Rating: 5
