Ok, so you could continue to save electricity by not growing ANY weed indoors. So you replaced your HIDs with LEDs? There is no way your yield and quality is comparable to the HPS setup. If you try to tell me that you replaced 2600 watts of HPS and your LEDS do the same thing I will have to call complete and utter BS on you.

He ran his own home made LED against outdoor grows and his LEDs won in terms of looks, smell potency and yield, IIRC.
He's a legal grower in Hawaii, BTW. The sun is real good there.

I run LEDs, too, but am not as adept.

The up-front cost is very high now. Most of the lamps you see hawked are getting mighty close to snake-oil territory. BUt if you can get your hands on some serious LED gear you will see that it cango toe to toe with HIDs and be a serious contender.

I have a room in mind its 4 foot by 10 and i want to get about 15 plants in there.. should i sell my 1000 and 600 hps and get some leds or buy new bulbs and keep the old humming sunsupplys... anyone on here using leds? how well do they work.... how high from the plants Rating: 5
