whats everyones thoughts on indoor grow temperature?

seems like everything you read says this or that......personally, on an indoor setup, i keep my temperature right around 80 degrees, with about 70% -75% humidity with slow and steady CO2 introduction. ive seen some stuff grow so fast it was unbelievable with this combination. ive never had any issues with getting maximum growth and yield with this combo at the upper elevations i live.

im just curious what everyone elses thoughts are on temp. some say between 65 and 70, some say between 70 and 80, and even others say between 75 and 85.

I try to grow at 70-75 degrees F, but usually have to settle for 80-85 ... my plants don't mind too much ... generally, if you are comfortable, they are, too (70-72) ... your humidity is high, though, you should aim for around 40%-45% ... keeps some insect populations down, and prevents molds, mildews ... the plants aspirate better, too ... maybe xcrispi will see your question, and pitch in ... he's using a pretty sophisticated CO2 setup now, and has mentioned how some 'standards' seem to change a bit, when using CO2 ... happy gardening :thumbsup:

thats what ive found, when you introduce CO2 directly, it changes things somewhat. some guys dont realize how important CO2 introduction is either. i introduce CO2 up high ( its heavier than air) and i have it setup above sort of a "dissipation" setup i made so it distributes somewhat evenly. one time i had some plants veggin and i left for a few days. unbenounced to me, one of my CO2 connections came loose and one plant got an extra dose for a few days. it grew about 3" more than the other ones in the room...LOL

i never have had any issues with bug or mould myself. i keep the air circulating pretty well also.

xcrispi is growing my 'NorCal Daddy's Girl' a bit longer than normal, since using the CO2 ... where she is normally finished (10% amber trichomes), in 52-55 days, this new CO2 crop, seems to be extended another week, or so, to get there ... but, there's also a couple other changes with this last garden (different soil-less medium, nutes, etc., so that combination 'may' be the reason, I don't know ... ? ... let us know, if you notice significant changes with your CO2 use ... xcrispi is very happy with his results, says his overall health, and yield up, too ... :smokin:

using CO2 usually takes between 7 and 10 days longer to finish, but the wait is generally well worth it.

well really i change as the plants grow.
veg temp is 75f-80f and hum is 60-65%
early bloom temp 75f hum down about 50%
late bloom temp 65f- 70f hum down to 40%
last 4 days i kill the lights and let the plants get some rest

real close to my routine........

in the last 5 days or so, ive probably gotten 3+ inches of new growth.
