Anyone know how many folks you have to give rep to before you can repeat?
It seems like I receive rep more frequently than I can give it. Every time I try to reciprocate, I get the message that I must spread it around more before giving rep to that person again.

I am going to guess its within the same thread that you try to hand out rep as the one you received it, and more then once in a thread.

I don't think it should be an option to turn off that function. JMHO FWIW

I think its you can't give rep to the same person twice in the same thread. I am not sure though.

i think you have to rep about 20 other peeps before you can rep someone again but could be more or less, i dont know the exact number. allso you can only give out a certain amount of rep a day.as for the point you made of peeps disableing their rep i definately agree, it makes the whole rep thing pointless if peeps can disable it.

When i received rep and a reply was given to why they thought my post was good a green dot was given, but i have a blank one, with a blue dot and there was no input?
If it was wrong, dumb, or just didn't reflect something about the thread is one thing. But my question was ''do you think running all those CFL's is cheaper then HPS lighting'', or something close to that. If this is neg rep, its bullshit. But im unsure if blue means neg rep or not?
Anyone know?

^ not sure about that, grey means its neutral from a newby, but never seen blank or blue. what happens if you get negative rep from someone with all red dots?? does that make it a positive? :stoned:

But the flux capacitor takes 1.21 gigawatts of electricity. Where will we get that kind of energy?!?
