These drawings were done free hand with ink by Les LePere. He also did the cover with color pencils. Here's a link to all the info on the book, including info on Les. I'll still leave a brief synopsis below.

The main character had done volunteer work in a village in Costa Rica during college. Afterward, he returns, thinking he can help the people more through other means. He introduces them to guerrilla growing-similar to the methods used in Northern California, the pot's being transported back to the US by catamaran boat, and the community's prospering, as the protagonist continually looks to Anarchist Catalonia of the last century for inspiration. However, the C.I.A. soon catches wind and is on his trail.
