I've hear of growers doing this a couple of different ways.

I've heard of leaving the lights on 24hrs the last week. I've also heard of gradually increasing your time from 12/12 to 14/10 or more during the last few weeks of flowering.

I would be concerned about hermaphrodites, but they haven't complained about this yet....

I have never heard of this being done but it seems like it should be possible. I am not looking for an "optimal efficiency" type of answer, sure you might delay flowering by a number of weeks but couldn't you build the length and thickness of a plant's budding material this way?
