    Growing the hugest buds

Isn't it possible to elongate and build buds by going from flower, back to veg and then back to flower again? I have never heard of this being done but it seems like it should be possible.

I am not looking for an "optimal efficiency" type of answer, sure you might delay flowering by a number of weeks but couldn't you build the length and thickness of a plant's budding material this way?

Think of your buds like chocolate chip cookies: some people like em crunchy and some people like em chewy. Personally, I want them tanned golden brown but not crispy....and no one likes cold raw dough in the middle of their cookie.

I am doing this right now and added about 4in. to the top of the buds. Also allot more leaves are now all the way coved in THC. My other plants did have THC on the leaves but not like this. Should get a good bit of hash. Didn't really mean to do this. I moved my mothers into a new tent and used a times and forgot to rest it. so they where in 16hr light. I left them for a about 3 weeks then wanted to see if I could reveg them then back to flower. Looks like it worked. I bet I could have got them bigger but didnt need to.

I can try and get some tomorrow. Lights off now. Also I checked yesterday and I was wronge about who much growth. I would say it is more like 7-9 in of growth. The tops all have new bud sites and you can tell where they start from the hirs being long and realy white. Kinda cool. Will be intressting if it changed the yeild at all or if the other buds will be rip before the new buds. Guess we will see in a mounth or so.

I'd think you would be getting more airy buds, but no more weight if any.

I've hear of growers doing this a couple of different ways.

I've heard of leaving the lights on 24hrs the last week. I've also heard of gradually increasing your time from 12/12 to 14/10 or more during the last few weeks of flowering.

I would be concerned about hermaphrodites, but they haven't complained about this yet....
