QueenKushHG Reviewed by QueenKushHG on . BooRadly's CFL Fire Grow (First Grow) Using 4x40watt FLs along with 3x26watt CFLs for now. Seeds taken from fire bud and the first two popped up out of the ground today so I decided I would start a log. Soil is 100% organic, compost and such. I guess I will start off with my first picture! :D It is also my first grow so im not expecting anything to go as planned. Rating: 5

I figured it was, i want to transplant it to better soil soon. Just worried about shock. But that soil is way too high in nutes. And is it okay if I use sand instead of perlite (Not beach sand but bought sand)

no on the sand.. that is the opposite of perlite.. perlite is for soil airarion.. sand is dense

Fuck, then why do people say put sand in your soil?

you CAN use an inch of sand at the top of the bucket for past control..
but it is heavy and stifling.. not really good in your soil..
try promix (or any other non-soil substrate) and cut with perlite..
    you will love the results..
or just use Miracle Gro.. that works fine too.. just add you guessed it.. perlite!
    lol

    Day 5!

    MiMi:

    Lush:

Transplanted them into two separate pots because i was afraid of their leaves running into eachother and used the same soil so i dont think they will go into shock. Doing very nice, both have second set.

I noticed the stems kind of look purple, is this a bad thing?
