Hey Dave, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. It sucks not being able to find the medicine you need. Please do NOT go down to Kennedy Plaza at dark for your medicine. It is not always a friendly place after dark and the medicine you could get down there will likely not even help you much.

You journey towards medical marijuana in RI starts here: RIPAC: Medical Marijuana in Rhode Island . Go to a community meeting listed on their calendar. You might be able to get some info on compassionate doctors in RI from the people there.

Take a look at the RI laws, many of the conditions you listed are not qualifying ailments. RI laws are more limiting then other states. Hopefully that will change soon because their are many things cannabis can help with. Your best bet would be to see a doctor for the GI issues or the chronic back pain. Insomnia and PTSD are not included in the law here, though I've seen what cannabis can do for these problems. Hopefully this will change in the coming years.
