I have no idea what the rules are in California.

How hard is it? Not hard at all if you have a LEGITIMATE medical reason to use cannabis. Most doctors offices will require documented history.

Documented medical history means you have a chronic condition that you've repeatedly sought medical help for. I was told my documented records could not be more than 1yr old. That means if I had a broken leg 3yrs ago and had pain - that don't count. If you currently happen to have brain cancer - but you don't have any current records showing continued doctors care and treatment - you got nuthin.

Bring copies of your records to the doctors office - because if you bring the originals - some of them will CHARGE you to make the copies in their office. I was told it would be $20 to copy my records. I had been warned about this and brought my own copies. Not getting $20 from me to make a couple dozen copies of paper.

Pay the doctors fee. Take the original copy of your prescription and fill out your state application - make copies of everything - get it all notarized and provide the necessary identification (copy of your drivers license) - include a check for the $90 registration fee and send it in via registered mail - save that receipt ........ and wait......... and wait......... and wait.......

it's really easy right now...no records needed although this is bound to change because it's in just about every proposed legislation...make sure you use a fully licensed M.D. or you may have to go back and get re-certified

some columnist in denver wrote she got her card between filling the wiper fluid and picking up the dry-cleaning without so much as disclosing her weight...

I don't think thats correct. Every place I called asked me to bring in CURRENT medical records - no more than 1yr old - as proof. But I got my card a few months back.

your wrong......all you have to do is look in westword or craigslist, & call and ask if they do "no records".......just so happens the first 2 places I called do no records no problem....took about 1.5hrs in and out...1.25hrs was waiting.

Yea, no; you definitely do not have to provide any medical history. I was taken a back by how easy it was. In no way am I complaining, but it was alarmingly simple to get done. That was the third week in November.

pfffft - decent housing prices in Colorado are a myth.

Unless you want to live in Aurora (we call it Saudi Aurora) - which just happens to be the biggest ANTI-pot city in the whole state.

Broomfield is expensive and is anti-pot.

Golden is pot friendly - but expensive.

Arvada has some reasonably priced housing, but I wouldn't want to live in those areas (high crime - a friend is an Arvada cop - no he doesn't know that I burn). They are also anti-pot.

Denver is one of the most pot friendly cities and there are very nice areas of Denver proper. It's anything but cheap though.
