What size cup? Without even seeing what your working with I would say two weeks for sure. Also if you wait till the cup feels pretty dry it should come out easier and have less stress during transplant..

No you don't want to wait until rootbound. having a plant rootbound is a bad thing. Thats a main reason for unhealthy plants and slow growth. I like to put clones into 6 inch pots for 2 weeks then I move them to their final pot. Either a 3, 5, or 7 gallon smart pot(prevents rootbound).
