Salvia is a Sage, there are hundreds if not thousands of "Salvia's", but the only potent one that is smoked is Salvia Divinorum. The plant is a curiosity to many because it does not produce seeds commonly, they are EXTREMELY rare, most plants only make seeds every few years, even when hand pollinated. Salvia grows in the wild because when it grows tall, the weak stem bends and the plant touches the ground, and then roots further from there. You can not buy salvia divinorum seeds anywhere that i know of right now, but you can buy cuttings and grow the plant from their.

lol, you guys... That salvia you can pick up at the plant nursery is NOT salvia divinorum, its another type of salvia, closely related but it doesn't have ne active ingredients. Its known as sage, you know, the seasoning.

Anyone know of a plant that can have this effect?
Welcome to the world of THCV or tetrahydrocannabivaren.I've been toking for 36 years and I have smoked Cannabis of this strength maybe only 20 or 30 times, its rare it comes from the Equatorial regions of our planet and it is usually grown at higher (appropriate) altitudes, the combination of the different light spectrum at the equator and at altitude plus(the most important)the right genetics seems to achieve THCV production.I don't know if it occurs in conditions outside what I have mentioned, maybe any quality buds grown on the equator at high altitude produce THCV in response to the enviroment?

sounds more like skizzote to me.... and yes salvia seeds are very rare, and I dont really think many people sell em online. There was one place but they ran out fast.
