    Plants struggling

I have three 12" plants 30" under a 1000 watt MH light. They have been struggling ever scence I moved them out from under the floorecsent lights. They are in a 3x3 flood and soak tray. The room is 6x6x8 high with a 400 CFM fan vented out side. The room stay bettween 64 and 68 degrees and he humidity is in the 50s. I just finished my second resivor change in four weeks and ran clearex for a while. Now running pure pro grow, pure pro bloom, cal mag, liquid karma at 1200 PPM and the PH is 5.8 to 6.0 with tap water. I have tried every thing I could find out from friends and hyd. store people with no luck. Bottom larger leaves are dark green and look healthy, growth on top of plants is drooping and looks like its wilting. When plants are moved out of direct light or put in partial shade, plants respond will by perking up and start to look health. Friends keep telling me 30" is good but results say different. Any help is appriceated. Thx will post pics asp

    Plants struggling

I was having that problem with a soil grow when I tried and failed with a couple seedlings. I tried doing 24 hour light and honestly I think it just stressed them out because whenever I took them out of the strong light and just set them on my dresser they started to look good. I didn't get a successful grow until I went back to 20/4

May be 1000 watts is just to much for three plants. My buds said you cant have to much light.

My watering were to spread out and plants were not getting enough air. Went from three to two watering and both in the first 6 hours of light cycle. Plants seem to be responding well to changes

Yeah I think I would raise the light as far as possible till the plants get older. Ikeep my 1000w at a minimum of 24" from plants in flower. And yours are in veg still. I like using T5's for veg.
