If you would like to speed up the rate of the soil drying try drilling holes into the side of the bucket. I just transplanted my 2 month old mother into a 5 gallon bucket because I was pondering SCROG. Now shes loving the bucket and bounced back from the transplant so lovely I would hate to pull her back out. The crappy part is ya gotta get the drill bit the pulls the plastic away from the hole so you roots aren't being mixed with it. But honestly 5 gallon buckets are for trees
