Very nice. I'm sure it sucked at the time but a valuable experience. I wouldn't trade my trips for anything even the bad ones.
On a lighter note:
A group of about five of us was starting to trip balls. We were in a crappy apartment just like all the other crappy apartments on campus. We were trying to figure out what to do with a new blacklight poster. Just one of those fuzzy posters, a black hole in the middle with stars radiating outward like the warp speed from the old Star Wars movies. We tacked it up, turned off the lights, turned on the blacklight, and put on Jimi Hendrix "Axis Bold As Love". We were all sitting on the floor just staring at this black hole poster listening to the music with that butterflies in the stomach feeling. We soon knew what this poster was for, and this was it. I felt physically pushed back against the wall as the black hole transformed into a tunnel. The stars were not on the wall they were all around me as I was accelerated into the tunnel. The tunnel began to twist and turn as it transported me through space. It was like a frickin roller coaster twisting up, down, left, and right while changing speed according to the music. No one moved or said a word aside of the occassional "ooh" and "ahh" or "Fuck" until the entire side one of Axis played out. As the tape went "click" (remember tapes?) the lights came on, we had a smoke, grinned like the Cheshire Cat, flipped the tape and did it again. We rode the roller coaster tunnel through space all night long burning through Jimi, Zeppelin, Rush, Black Sabath, Beatles, Pink Floyd, and I think some Yes. Only stopping between sides of the tapes for a smoke and a stretch, we were physically and emotionally drained when the coaster slowed and finally stopped. The sun was out and the birds were loud as hell. I think we all slept for a day.
