I just removed one of my plants from dirt because it was infested with those fungus gnats. I cut the pot since it was light plastic and took out the dirt mass carefully. I don't think I damaged much of the roots but I rinsed the dirt off with luke warm water. I have it sitting in a little pot with just water. Do you think it will die? I want to wait until I thoroughly sanitize the pots and put new dirt in. How long do I have?
