Thanks for the help.....I found a bigger cabinet then the one im using now and alot better....im going to put up mylar and add lights....I was thinking of buying 1 250w hps light bulb and putting it in the top with the cfls on bottom....Is that a good idea???? and do 250w hps light bulbs need different size light socket

A 250hps can not be screwed into any socket. You will need a ballast that will fit a 25w. Most people buy the light with the ballast together. You can find them on ebay, but there not cheap, maybe 200-350bucks. Im not sure, iv never bought one, but have seen them on ebay. Also, there are sites you can get them on line.

If you do this, your going to need a lot of ventilation, so plan on getting them, because w/ a 250hps your going to have a ton of heat to get rid of. Read some grow logs w/ hps and you will understand.

Here is a nice post about LST'ing and when to do it. From the looks of your plants, now would be the best time because you only have about 3-4 internodes from what I can see on day 20. If you don't want to LST like the diagrams shown, you can always tie them back which is a form a LST, just a lil different.

Your plants look real good, I like the hps idea but only for flowering. hps on the top and cfl's on the bottom would be beautiful. Keep doin what your doin, find a nice water cycle that the plants like, start minimal on nutes to see how the plants react because you'll find that later on, one may not like full strength nutes, and one might. That how it was for me. One ate nutes like you wouldn't believe, and one was very sensitive. Best of luck, if you don't mind i'm gonna pull up a chair. My first grow is just about finished and i'd like to see how other people are doing to get ideas for my next grow to make it even better!!!:thumbsup:

got alot of good feedback today just got some nuts today to...i was looking for 20-10-10 but all i found was 10-15-10 what do u think think it will work????? Well i did the LST method tell me wht u think....

Nice, lst looks good, now just continue to follow the diagram and when there are a few more internodes then start to wrap it around the pot.

Your 10-15-10 is good for flowering, high in phosphorous. You need fert high in nitrogen for veg. Go to home depot and they have a lot of miracle grow fertz that you can get that are high in nitrogen. Fox farm products are good as well. I use all three and they seemed to have worked for me. If no stores have it around you, a lot of places online have it.
