Spider mites right away on first grow! So bummed....
Thanks for the tips. I didn't know they came from the soil. I've heard that eggs can lie dormant in the soil (and often hatch upon photoperiod change, which is why you may need to add a 2nd no pest strip upon switching to 12/12 for a few days).

I do like the full-strength neem oil on the base of the stem idea! Going to do that now. Thanks!lampost Reviewed by lampost on . Spider mites right away on first grow! So bummed.... Man, I'm pretty bummed. Picked up some clones from a dispensary/collective 4-5 days ago and I'm just realizing that they're infested with what appears to be mites. I noticed white spots on the tops of a few of my clones/plants. I took a closer look and what do you know I see VERY tiny little white/clear moving specks on the bottom of the leaves. It's very hard to see them, but once I saw them moving I knew it was BAD NEWS!! Does this sound like spider mites? I'll admit I haven't done my Rating: 5Brown-eyed women and red grenadine...
