I planted some seeds around January in a set up discribed around here for 100% germination. So far I have a pretty good sprout (planted on Jan 1st, and one other rising which was planted about 2 days ago). I checked some rapid rooter plugs and a few more seeds are emerging, the other ones seem dead. In any case, the sprout has been around the same size now, for about a week, is something wrong? I am only witnessing small growth (half a centimeter) Rating: 5

Let them get a touch rootbound... But if they're sucking up water in less than a day, it's time to repot.

thanks guys, i will check the plants out tonight and tomorrow morning.

The only thing I can think of is that the nutes are locking other nutes out. I doubt I made a mistake mixing the solution, however this may be the cause.... If the plants get dry by tonight, then I will re-pot them this weekend in bigger pots.

Ok, the pics are still on the way.... but i wanted to post an update

The plants are doing cool, that little nirgrogen defiecency got a little worse, but I got some Fox Farm nutes and foliar fed... so the leafs are returning to their natural green color.

I am running into some problems with the heating of the place as well, I put my outgoing fan on a timer to run every 15 mins, otherwise it gets hot in there, however if it is on all the time, it gets really cold...(winter here).

I also have a fan on top of the set-up to push the hot air down on the plants to keep them nice and warm....

[align=left]I am also using a fan on a timer for fifteen out of every sixty minutes. Seems to work, but I'm saving up for a nicer fan controller. I would suggest you get a thermostat controlled outlet so it will automatically turn the fan on and off based on the set temperature... should run you less than $20.
