Quick Fix 5.7 Question

Thanks to everyone for all this great info! I got hit w/ a surprise drg screen thru Quest labs for a 4 week proj I'm assigned to. I have a QF 5.7 and plan on using it tomorrow. Reading all these success stories makes me feel a lot better.

The slightly neon color and lack of odor concerned me, but it seems like that's not something for me to be worried about.

Also, my bottle isn't filled to the top. Is it going to be enough? It comes slightly below the top of the bottle (but below the bottleneck).

You will be fine! My test was also with Quest and I also had QF 5.7.
Don't worry about the color or odor. As for the amount, another thing really not to worry about. I bought the smaller bottle and still had some left over. Some places might be sticklers on having you fill up to a certain point, but I've never heard about them rejecting a sample because not enough urine.

It's easy to say relax, but I remember how scared I was that day. The hardest part really is getting the temperature correct and honestly, it is not that hard. Heating up the strip on the cup, from the previous poster, is a great idea as well if your QF wasn't at the right temp.

Well, I just got back from the lab and I think everything went well

My temp was well within range and the amt in the 3oz bottle was more than enough. As long as QF 5.7 def passes all the validity tests I'm golden...which I think I am! It was SO easy.

For those who are reading this and nervous, here's how my test went down. I went to a Quest Diagnostics. Had no appt, and waited about 20 mins. Prior to going to Quest, I heated my bottle twice in the mircowave twice. The first time was 10 seconds. The 2nd time was 8 seconds. It was around 98 (my mircowave must be old.. ). I attached the heat warmer w/a rubber band and crotched it (I'm a chick). When it was time for me to give the sample, it was at a steady 98.

I went into a bathroom, unobserved. Could even lock the door if I wanted. They dropped a blue tablet in the toilet and told me to not wash my hands. And I was told I had 4 mins, which was plenty of time. I almost came out too soon I think

I watched the guy pour it into a vial... checked the temp box as within range and then I signed the form. So I feel great now.

Oh, I forgot to mention. NEVER use the exact amount in your urine bottle! That DOES make it a red flag. It is not enough evidence to reject the specimen, but they may do further analysis and may ask for a new sample... The line they tell you to fill up is way more urine than they need anyway.

I just want to let everyone know I have read this site for years. I have never heard of a straight up failure. I have heard of people fucking up the temp or being shady. I have used QUick fix multiple times. My friends have used quick fix multiple times. It works every freakin time. Do not doubt it ever. YOu shake it up and get the temp right and your golden. I rely on this product every day.

Has anyone tried this stuff? It's synthetic and comes in a bladder bag....but everyone's talking about QuickFix and I'm getting nervous....

I just took both hair and urine test. in the bathroom they had a sign saying they will test for synthetic urine and that this will be reported as a "failure". I didn't use it in my case but thought I would chip this in to you on this thread.

Under DHHS regulations, labs determine a "non-human" sample by checking the creatinine level. If the creatinine level is between 0 - 2 mg/dL, its ruled "not consistent with human urine"

As long as the synthetic is a reputable brand purchased from a reputable vendor, and that its a current batch thats been stored properly, it will pass the validity checks that are allowed to be performed under DHHS regulations.
