i have chronic depression that makes me sick to my stomach 24/7 and it leads to vomiting if i don't get high. so i told them it helps with nausea and got my card no problem. if the place you're going turns you down you should definitely keep trying. i never even had to see a doctor. he just called me. your only problem will be if you're under 25 cuz then they tend to want medical records strictly concerning your issue.
