I was thinking about just fighting the mites though because I bet they'll come back even if I get new plants. I've heard it's pretty hard to eliminate them once you have them. Where do these fuckers come from!? Could they actually come into your home through cracks and stuff? My basement is sealed up too well. Although, I'm sure there's not too many of them active right now outside considering the weather, so I don't think these came from me, my house, or my yard.

Man, what a bummer... and not a great way to get introduced into the hobby In the meantime.. I'm about to spray with pyrethrin and then neem and put a frickin hot shot no bug strip in the room!!
sucks bug time........especially since its winter & mites shouldnt be that big of deal right now!....best bet is to use a fogger & pyrethin spray(spectricide or something like that)....should get you ack where you need to be
