First Grow
I planted my train wreck on the 8th in my hydroponic drip system 5 gallon bucket. I've set it up in my closet, my 150 watt cfl light is about 28in away from the plant, the temp is at about 72 degrees with the light on and a humidity of 54 %. When i got the clone it was mainly dark green with light green as well. It seems to mainly be light green now. I'm running a 17/7 light cycle and leaving the drip on at all times. Could the color change in the plant be due to lack of nutrients? I've already added in the cal mag and pure grow when i put the 2 1/2 gallons of water into the bucket.
Any suggestions on what the problem could be or anything else?MrGrapeGod Reviewed by MrGrapeGod on . First Grow I planted my train wreck on the 8th in my hydroponic drip system 5 gallon bucket. I agree, I have a 200w cfl & keep it under 2"s from the top where the plants like it

The pH is doing well, i haven't let it drop below 5 and it hasn't gone above 6.5 at all. The plant appears to be growing well, but i am concerned with the leaves, here's a close up.
Also what do you guys suggest for humidity levels when the light is on as well as for when it is off?

If your Ph is OK then it looks like they need some food. We just had some that looked like that because they start to grow really fast and then slow down and green up. Or we up the nutes because they need the nitrogen.
Any idea what PPM's are on nutes ?

I've follow the direction for the cal mag and the pure grow in regards to ratio per gallon, the desired nutes are for Nitrogen: 160-250ppm, Calcium: 160-280ppm, Magnesium: 45-75ppm and Iron: 2-7ppm. I don't have a ppm meter but i should looking into purchasing one
The tip of my leave seem to be turning brown, I need to get these guys some nutrients and food. Apparently the two solutions aren't cutting it. What to do? Remember this is a hydroponic drip system. Thanks again guys

the plant needs more than just Nitrogen, Mag, Cal and Iron. If you dont have a ppm meter there is no sense talking about ppm. I take it this pure Grow you are using is a stand alone product?? I ask this since I use GH 3-part which consists of 3 sep bottles (Micro, Grow and Bloom), and during grow each has a certain amount I use. I cant say add more or less since I dont know anything bout the nutes you are using and dont want to steer you wrong. PH needs to be as close to 6.0 as you can get and what is the mix ratio of that stuff?? ml per gal?

If it's pure blend grow then you need 10-20 mls per gallon or 2-4 tbl per gallon. That's botanicare right.
