Can you transplant plants from soil to DWC?
I have a couple of harvests from soil under my belt and want to experiment with Deep water culture. Is there a way to transplant my plants from soil into the DWC or am I gunna have to wait a while until I can take cuttings again?

easy, just clean the roots in room temperature water, do it in the dark preferably, and let the soil just fall off the roots in the water. get as much as you can its ok if theres a little left, after you put it into the clay pellets or lavarock just flush it a bit to get the soil bits out of the medium. May take a few days for growth to start but the roots will grow into the new medium just fine as long as you dont break them too much..

I use all of the FF Nutrients. Do i just jump right into the fox farm schedule(they would be at week 3 of veg), or do i gradually work them up with the nutes?

I would go about 1/4 strength or maybe just pH adjusted water with some cal mag for a few day. Im not to sure. Remember hydro is not as forgiving as soil. I would imagine those plants are going to be in a grate deal of shock just from washing the soil out of the roots. I never even want to try that. Stress kills. lol

yeah I know theyre gunna be stressed but ill just go with a real mild nutrient solution with a little superthrive.
Luckily I have a bigger grow room that im downsizing a little so I have maybe 10 clones that are gunna have to go anyways, so I have some plants to spare if I fuck up the first time.
Theyre really not that big and the root systems are that big, so I think is too my advantage. Hopefully Theyll be shocked for a few days and then recover.
I still got a couple of weeks until I plan to do this but Im still trying to get the details of DWC. How high should the water level be? I understand that when they get more established the you want some space where the roots are dangling in the air, but how high should the water be when the plants are still small and the roots havent poked out of the hydroton yet?Whoever created this universe left marijuana as a gift to the earth, im just being grateful. :stoned:

You are better off to learn what you can about dwc and start with new rooted clones. Patience is key.
