Arizer vs. Volcano and Why Arizer Is My Choice

Ok dudes, let me first start off by saying I'm just a dude who loves cannabis and have been on a quest the last two weeks finding out about everything I can about vapes especially the Arizer Extreme and Volcano.

I have some great findings I want to share which will enlighten everyone about these two vapes. I'm a busy person so I won't be around on this forum. I know I'm a newbie member but I'll say that I'm not affiliated with any vape company. Just wanted to share some valuable information and education that I learned these past two weeks so others like me can benefit.

I think these two vapes are the best on the market. However, there are some flaws in the Volcano and why the Arizer is a better choice.

The bag on the Arizer is oriented horizontally instead of vertically like that on a Volcano and it was intentionally made this way to improve upon the Volcano's flaw.

In the vertical design, the bag is folded over until it gradually unfolds as it fills up with vapor. Whenever there's restriction to airflow, the vapor (which is oils suspended in air) condenses into that visible resin. That's why Volcano bags are oily and sticky around the mouthpiece where it's attached.

After a while, you have to basically pull the sticky bag apart before you turn on the fan. Also, over time, the stuck oils on the bag creates a burnt taste since these stuck oils are repeatedly exposed to the heat, even though you're using fresh and tasty herbs. So this horizontal orientation is a much better design.

I come from a business background and this Volcano company, Storz & Bickel, reminds me of a typical successful company that's riding too high on its horse. They launched a nice product, priced it way too high, watched it catch on b/c it's the best choice on the market, became content with little investment in R&D to stay ahead of the game, and will soon get a rude awakening when a new competitor offers better products at better prices that addresses the Volcano flaws.

As a consumer, I'm a little ticked off at Volcano because there's no reason for them to charge the insane prices they have been with this "arrogant" attitude of "take it or leave it." And thus this is my main motivation for signing up on this forum to share my knowledge so perhaps more people like me can stick it to these greedy a-holes. LOL.

So there you have it. Volcano is not the Taj Mahal of vapes. Nor will it be in the future. The Extreme is better and why I will buy this one instead of the Volcano.

    Peace out dudes.

what with everything in your profile referring to vaporizers, I suspect you are advertising for your own product ... no matter, but it seems obvious, just the same ... I don't like vaporizers, but, I prefer the HerbalAire, and I never had a situation where it's vertical bag 'fell over', etc., etc., ... and, yup, the Volcano is ridiculously overpriced (just like they ALL are) ... :smokin:

ALL vaporizers are overpriced? TOTAL bullshit. My vape is so damn efficient that it paid for itself within the first month I had it, and it is now saving me money because I am going thru weed at a rate of 50% less than what I did when I smoked it. Not only that, but it's saving my lungs and tastes great. Some vapes are overpriced but to say that they all are is just plain................stoooooooopid.

As an aside, the 'Cano, the HerbalAire and the Extreme are all great vapes, that is, if you like sucking on bags. The HA and the Extreme are combo vapes. They do whips and bags. But, they are a jack of all trades but a master at none. It's been my experience that the Cano does bags better and whip based vapes like the SSV or the Buddha does whips better.

But if efficiency is at the top of your list, nothing beats out a Purple Days or a MyrtleZap.

And if ya like hitting vapor out of your bong, a VripTech Heat Wand is the way to go.

    All great vapes though.

    My disclaimer...

Ain't no act for me but of course I'm also a habitual liar with a thin grasp on reality so take what I say for what it's worth, cough, cough.

I agree that horizontal flow is better. However, I change out bags every few weeks on the volcano and clean all parts, so its almost a nonissue. Love the taste of a clean vape/bag. Looks like used volcano prices have come down drastically in the last 2 years.
