get a magnifying glass and look at the trichomes... they should be getting a little cloudy looking if they are ready for harvest. wait even longer (till they are cloudy and amber colored) for a stonier high.

Good post, but what you meant to say is don't go by the pistil color, the calyx is the body that surround the pistils or "hairs." :thumbsup:

I seen a post somewhere from the 2001 edition of jorge cervantes grow bible that said purple leaves is possibly from too much salt build up so i flushed them out and have been giving them straight ph'd tap water for the last 2.5 weeks. The plants have only gotten more purple since the flush And i don't know what is causing it. Help What is your experience level? (first timer, novice, experienced...) (novice) Rating: 5
